In April 2015, Xiaoyin Architecture was founded in Chengdu, China. It is the pioneer and practitioner of the Theory of Imagery Architecture, and a leading representative of the Imagery Architecture school. Its core concept is to create a brand-new multi-dimensional spatial experience and to construct a poetic spatial environment full of emotions and vitality.

Adhering to the architectural creation method of "endowing images with ideas and revealing ideas through images", Xiaoyin Architecture combines poetic and painting creation with Eastern philosophical thinking. As a medium connecting human beings and nature, imagery is a "scenario-based" existence that encompasses both reality and imagination. Imagery Architecture constructs scenarios with prototypes extracted from natural and cultural imageries, endowing buildings with strong readability and recognizability. In this way, it forms narrative architectural spaces, expresses specific aesthetic viewpoints and artistic cultural empathy, and achieves the artistic sublimation of architecture.

In architectural practice, it pursues a balance between aesthetics and practicality. While ensuring the functional requirements and visual effects of buildings, it maximally satisfies people's spiritual and aesthetic needs. Imagery Architecture hopes to transform architecture into a kind of "architectural image language", making it as understandable to the public as written language. It brings new ideas and possibilities for turning abstract theoretical concepts into specific and novel design expressions, and strives to become a disseminator and creator of Chinese culture and civilization.
