The architectural studio Medprostor was founded in 2011 with the aim of establishing its own approach in architecture. We stand for thoughtful, restrained architecture that respects tradition and follows the progress of technology and knowledge. The designs respect the laws of local environments, include local knowledge and materials, and yet are based on the needs of their future users, which we want to treat personally and contemporary.

We operate in a broad field of creation, as we do not believe in specializing in one area, but in a unified approach to planning, regardless of the scale of the project. According to our plans, projects of various sizes and complexities have been implemented, such as complex renovations of cultural heritage, large public buildings, bridges, open public spaces, individual houses, apartment furnishings, exhibitions, etc. We are present in all Slovenian regions, and recently we have also been operating internationally. We have received several awards for the projects we have carried out. Among other things, we have received: the Plečnik Award and Medal, the Golden Pencil, the Piranesi Award, the Prešeren Fund Award and received several nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award.
