The brilliant innovations of technology and aestheticsfor Cartier timepieces will be on display in antraveling international exhibition directed by TokujinYoshioka, titled “Cartier Time Art – Mechanic ofPassion.” ?The exhibition will be held at Power Stationof Art in Shanghai, China. The exhibition will showcase 151 historical pieces fromthe Cartier Collection, 16 “Métiers d’art” watches fromthe Cartier d’Art Collection, 20 Manufacture Movements,15 watches from the Cartier Fine Watchmaking Collection.Throughout this temporal journey, one key elementstanding out is the daring spirit of Cartier’swatchmaker, from its craftsman to its designers, whichhas been imbued in the exhibition scenography. The exhibition is to be directed by Tokujin Yoshioka, whoparticipated as a director in an exhibition of CartierCollection in 2009 at Tokyo National Museum, HyokeikanGallery.
