Haikou, the island city with the most natural and cultural charm, is rich in tropical resources and has romantic and comfortable seaside scenery. The Mixc Haikou is located in the core area of the international trade circle in Longhua CBD. It is the first urban landmark complex project in Hainan that integrates top commercial, high-end residential and business offices.

广亩景观·GMX团队结合了在地自然元素与未来主义美学，模糊了城市环境与商业空间、公共与私属领域的界限，使之与这座城市中得天独厚的海岛文化、亚热带自然景观及原有城市街道肌理无缝衔接。通过对细节、材质和植栽设计的打磨推敲，让场地低调优雅、收放自然的属性得以彰显。

GM· GMX team combines local natural elements and futurism aesthetics, blurs the boundaries between urban environment and commercial space, public and private fields, and makes it seamlessly connected with the unique island culture, subtropical natural landscape and the original urban street texture in this city. Through the polishing and deliberation of details, materials and planting design, the low-key and elegant properties of the site can be demonstrated.

为了使热情浪漫的海岛风光与低调高奢的项目定位相互平衡，我们提出“艺术融入自然”的设计手法，抽取海岛在地自然肌理，化繁为简，概括统一，串联、激活狭长的场地界面。不仅使之作为奢品体验目的地引领风尚，更通过具有明显地域符号的景观，成功融入海口的自然文脉并在层次感上相得益彰。

To achieve the balance between the romantic island scenery and the extravagant project positioning, we propose the design method of Integrating Art Into Nature, extract the natural texture of the island, reduce complexity to simplicity, summarize to the extreme, connect and activate the narrow and long site interface. It not only leads the fashion as a luxury experience destination, but also successfully integrates into the natural context of Haikou and complements each other in the sense of hierarchy through the landscape with obvious regional symbols.

Connecting Architecture and City

南街狭长的商业界面是设计团队面临的首要挑战。设计的目标不仅是为到访者创造一种大气的商业到达感受，为未来入驻的奢品店提供更加通透的展示界面，同时也要提供人性化尺度的步行体验。

The narrow commercial street is our primary challenge. The goal of the design is not only to create a commercial atmosphere for visitors, provide a more transparent display interface for luxury stores in the future, but also to provide a humanized walking experience.

在政府、开发商、设计师团队的协力推进下，将种植空间外推至市政边界，市政人行道与商业步行街进行整合，两端水景激发场地活力,空中廊桥链接对街商业，以此精确的描绘出建筑商业界面与城市空间的高度融合；同时将其与周围的城市道路隔离，创造出一个远离喧嚣的公共社交空间。

With the concerted efforts of the government, developers and designers, the planting space is extended to the municipal boundary, and the municipal sidewalk is integrated with the commercial pedestrian street, the corridor bridge links the commercial space on both sides, so as to accurately depict the high integration of the building business interface and the urban space. At the same time, it will be isolated from the surrounding urban roads to create a public social space away from the noise.

芭蕉叶脉铺装鳞次栉比的肌理为访客创造精彩纷呈的游赏之旅；加宽的种植池边界将整个街道串联，蕉叶般蜷曲的座凳流畅舒展与之融为一体，增加步行趣味。多层次的植物景观与通透的橱窗玻璃交相辉映，精心布置的道旗灯与种植花钵创造秩序又打破沉闷，人流在此驻足掠影。

The pavement texture like the vein of banana leaves creates a wonderful tour for visitors. The widened planter banding connects the whole street, and the banana leaf-like seat is integrated with it to increase the walking interest. The multi-level plant landscape and transparent window glass complement each other. The carefully arranged flag lamps and flower pots create order and break the dreariness. Visitors linger here.

自然元素的艺术演绎

The artistry of natural elements

入口广场设计，奠定了整个场地优雅不张扬的氛围基调。岛礁造型水池漂浮在蕉叶铺装之上，建立与海南海岛自然文化的共情。水景立面腰线细节处理努力寻找艺术与景观的平衡，如起伏的海面轻拂岸边的礁石，实现跌水面与池壁的柔美过渡；广场上叶脉铜条镶嵌与之遥相呼应。

The design of the entrance square has laid the tone of the elegant atmosphere of the whole site. The reef shaped water feature floats on the pavement of banana leaves, establishing empathy with the island culture. We try to find the balance between art and landscape of the water feature detail. For example, the undulating sea gently touches the rocks on the shore to realize the soft transition between the falling water and the pool wall. The copper bar like the vein is the same as it.

夜幕来临，含情脉脉的涌泉与商业立面的灯光遥相呼应，与海上渔火一同融入了这座城市温暖与梦幻。

When the night comes, the affectionate spring echoes the light of the commercial facade, and integrates the warmth and dream of the city with the fishing fire on the sea.

我们对芭蕉叶蜷曲的形态进行无限的衍生与变化，流线型的关系在整个场地都有迹可循。从入口广场的水景和铜条灯到南商业街的艺术座椅，从北街的住宅入口景墙到VIP落客区，串联起场地探索的故事线。这种一以贯之、求同存异的设计手法亦是对场地狭窄线性空间的回应。

We have infinitely derived and changed the curling shape of banana leaves, and the streamline relationship can be traced around the whole site. From the water feature and copper bar lamp of the entrance square to the art seat of the south commercial street, from the residential entrance wall of the North Street to the VIP drop-off area, it is like a story line connecting the space. This consistent design method is also a response to the narrow linear space of the site.

种植系统传递场所体验

Planting System Delivers Site Experience

种植系统与建筑商、办、住不同功能形成对话，通过多元的植物设计，丰富空间体验，激发场地的生机与活力。入口广场精心布置的花境与蓝钻水景创造出对海岛的想象。东西街相对自由的漂浮绿岛丰富步行体验；保留的椰子树，穿行其间可以感受到扑面而来海风气息。

Architecture function affects planting design. Through diversified plant design, it can enrich the space experience and stimulate the vitality and vitality of the site. The carefully arranged flower border and blue diamond water feature in the entrance square create the imagination of the island. The relatively free floating green island in the east and west streets is rich in walking experience. You can feel the sea breeze coming from your face when walking through the preserved coconut trees.
