项目概况 What was the brief?
我们提供的是一个开放空间，其设计方式与岩石造型相同，但我们不是像喀斯特地貌那样利用水，而是利用光。圆柱形的光线穿透了整个空间，将其引向内部，并向外部投射出多种暗示性的视角。We offer an open space, designed in the same way that rocks are modeled, but instead of doing it with water as the Karst does, we do it with light. Cylinders of light perforate the volume, leading it towards the interior and generating multiple and suggestive views towards the exterior.

主要的挑战是什么？What were the key challenges?
桑坦德的特点是气象在很短的时间内不断变化。这种外部条件的多变性促使我们建造一座可变的建筑，反映城市和周围环境、天空和大海。Santander is characterized by a changing meteorology in very short periods of time. This variability of external conditions leads us to a mutable building, a reflection of its city and its surroundings, its sky and its sea.

选择了哪些材料，为什么？What materials did you choose and why?
我们建议采用铝制外围护结构，以强调这种反射性，但要以一种微妙和漫反射的方式，与镜子完全不同。我们追求的是建筑的存在感，而不是它的消失，但要以一种微妙而多变的方式。这种材料允许我们在较低的区域穿孔，以便在必要时增加光线。We propose an exterior aluminum envelope to emphasize this reflectivity, but in a subtle and diffuse way, totally different from a mirror. We seek the presence of the building, not its disappearance, but in a subtle and changing way. This material allows us to perforate it in lower areas to add more light if necessary.

对于切口和空隙，我们建议采用连续的玻璃表面，根据朝向的不同，防晒效果有轻有重。For the incisions and voids we propose continuous glass surfaces, depending on the orientation, with less or more solar protection.
