PAIN CHAUD是一家在上海耕耘了八年的法式面包品店，我们与其紧密合作，今年为品牌设计了第6家门店。该项目位于上海ITC国贸，在繁华的徐家汇商圈场地拥有270度的大面积幕墙采光，坐享开放的花园景观，我们初期的想法就是放大场地的视野优势，在满足品牌营运和零售的基础要求之上，为烘培店引入更具生活化场景化的设计。

PAIN CHAUD is a French-style bakery settled in Shanghai for eight years. We collaborate closely and designed the sixth store for the brand this year. The project is located in Shanghai ITC International Trade, in the prosperous Xujiahui business district. The large 270-degree curtain wall ensures sufficient daylight and allows visitors to enjoy the open garden landscape. Our initial idea was to enlarge the advantage of the visual field of the site, to meet the basic requirements of the brand, referring to operation and retail, and to introduce a more life-oriented design to the bakery.

进入ITC店便可望见有着斜切角度的开放式吧台区，连续的吧台有效引导人流和视觉重点。我们把店内的各个功能进行分解，组织成一系列相互连接但独立的空间。并从品牌标志性的LOGO中提炼出视觉语言，成为店内一再出现的标识，这是我们在所有PAIN CHAUD门店中都会去运用和贯穿的元素，但根据店铺的不同性格进行因地制宜的调整。空间的视觉连续性与统一性得以保证。以弧线和半圆作为基础结构串连起各功能分区，让空间自然延伸的同时维持其秩序，并通过不同的变化组合来营造差异化视觉效果，划分烘托各区主题。

Entering the ITC shop, you can see the open bar area with an oblique angle, and the continuous bar can effectively guide the flow of people and visual focus. Our design decomposes each function in the store and organizes them into a series of interconnected spaces, meanwhile, these are also independent. The iconic LOGO of the brand is refined into a systematic visual language, which has become a recurring logo in the store. These are elements that we will use and run through in all PAIN CHAUD stores, but we will make adjustments according to the different characteristics of the store. The visual continuity and unity of the space are thus guaranteed. The arcs and semicircles are used as the basic structure to connect different functional partitions, accessing the space to extend naturally while maintaining its order. And through different combinations of geometric shapes to create differentiated visual effects, highlighting the theme of each area.

整体空间用大面积的色块来划分，卡座部分充当休息区的同时也是点餐流线和客区的分割。圆形沙发模拟出面包的蓬松感，在此聚会或小憩都更加自由与舒适。固定的小台板与可灵活组合的圆凳，最大限度把空间留给客人。长桌则提供另一种场景，拓展单人使用或多人讨论聚会的模式。

The overall space is divided by a large area of color blocks. While the booth part serves as a rest area, it is also a division of the ordering queue and guest area. The round sofa simulates the fluffy feeling of bread, and it is more comfortable to have a party or a nap here. Fixed small platen and flexible combination of round stool to maximize the space for guests. The long table provides another scenario to expand the mode of single-person use or multi-person discussion and gathering.

为使该店铺成为更有趣场所，丰富品牌的空间性格，每个PC门店我们都会根据场地条件给予不同的设计主题。ITC店的主题是花园中的复古阿绿，我们希望来的人都很放松可以享受开阔的视野，同时舒服就坐，品尝香喷喷的面包和咖啡。整体色调以米色、橄榄绿及砖红色为主体，老式小瓷砖、玻璃质感灯具和墙面更增添了新式复古意味，不同线条感的组合构建出质感简练且尺度巧妙的空间。零售展示空间我们穿插安排在圆柱、吧台、立面等位置，在流线的重要节点都有预留。沿幕墙设置的客座区环形围绕，形成一个聚拢的小空间，我们在这个核心种植了四季常绿小灌木，希望能与室外大面积草坪花园相呼应，打造内外皆花园的体验。

For creating a more interesting site as well as enriching the spatial character of the brand, we match different design themes into each PC store according to the site conditions. The theme of the ITC store is the Vintage Green in the garden. We hope each guest can breezily enjoy a wide view, sit comfortably, and taste delicious bread and coffee. The overall tone is mainly beige, olive green, and brick red. The old small ceramic tiles, glass lamps, and walls add a new retro meaning. The combination of different lines constructs a space with concise texture and ingenious scale. The retail display spaces are arranged in columns, bars, facades, etc., and are reserved at important nodes of the flow line. The guest area set along the curtain wall is surrounded by a ring to form a small gathering space. We planted evergreen shrubs in this core, hoping to echo with the outdoor large-area lawn garden, creating a garden experience inside and outside.

为强调空间的通透感和开放性，幕墙尽量不做遮挡，可以保留270度的开放视野光影变化让空间变换更有活力，一天中随着阳光投射角度的变化，光线呈现出多种面貌，营造出店铺亲切和日常的氛围感。

To emphasize the transparency and openness of the space, the curtain wall is not blocked as far as possible, so that the 270-degree open field of vision is retained. The light and shadow change makes the space change more dynamic. With the change of sunlight projection angle, the light presents a variety of features throughout the day, creating a friendly atmosphere of the store.
