Boxhouse位于圣保罗市的一个低垂直化的住宅区，是一位年轻的建筑师为自己设计的住宅。场地(20 x 10米)角落的大小，规划出建筑中的所有开口都在两个立面中。顶棚的开口和内天井照亮了位于其他两个立面中的空间。

The Boxhouse, located in a residential neighborhood of lowverticalization in the city of São Paulo, was designed for a young architect,to himself. The size of the ground (20 x 10m) corner, directed theimplementation where all the openings are located in two of the four facades.Zenith openings and the inner patio illuminate the environments that arelocated on the other two facades.

从街道上看，建筑出现在墙后方，像一个没有开口的不透明盒子，这是建筑师有意为之，因为自由裁量会增加安全感（城市现实）。

From the street, the house emergesbehind the wall like an opaque box with no openings. This was intentional,because the discretion generates more security (reality of the city).

当人们穿过耐腐钢材质的大门时，将会到达一个大厅，在这里可以一览整个项目的体量，并通过材料的领养选择来区分空间。建筑作为一个不透明的盒子，曾经看起来十分沉重，如今被放置在一楼的玻璃盒子空间之上，看起来就像漂浮在空中一样。

As you pass through the front gate ofCorten steel, you come to a hall from which you can read, for the first time,the volumetry of the whole project and the differentiation of the programthrough the choice of materials. The opaque box, which before seemed to beheavy, rests in a glass box on the ground floor and makes it appear to float.

一层的滑动玻璃门允许室内与花园在视觉上融合在一起，承担了功能性的社交部分（生活）。

On the ground floor, the sliding glassdoors allows a visual integration with the garden. Here is a social part(living) in a functional way.

二楼包含构成住宅外立面的私人区域（卧室、电视房）：这些构成了建筑外层的迷你波浪形面板，不同的开口决定着采光、隔音和安全性的不同可能。

The second floor contains the privatearea (suite, TV room) that determined the outer covering of the residence:miniwave panels. The different possibility of openings controls sunlight,acoustic and safety.

到了屋顶，花园为项目收尾，并与周围环境建立了独特的关系，就像一个观景台。

Onthe rooftop, the garden completes the program and establishes a distinctrelationship with the surroundings.It’s like abelvedere.

建筑尊重场地的现实条件，无论是在植物的组织还是对材料的定义中，所有设计都贯穿细节。

The architecture respected the real conditionsof the place, in the organization of the plant and in the definition ofmaterials, passing through the design of the details.
