“诗的剧场”《月出》

Poetic Theater- Moonrise

2021年是联合国成立76周年，也是中华人民共和国恢复联合国合法席位50周年的一年。在这个无比重要的时刻，联合国驻华系统、「为你读诗」与《中国日报》新媒体在联合国大楼举行了“《月出》诗歌、音乐、秋和之咏”音乐诗会，以诗传递人类朴素而真挚的情感。我们受主办方「为你读诗」邀请为本次活动设计剧场装置。

2021 marks the 76th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the 50th anniversary of the restoration of the lawful seat of the people's Republic of China in the United Nations. At this extremely important moment, the United Nations system in China, the poem for you and China Daily held the "Moonrise-An Autumn of Poetry, Music, and Harmony" music poetry meeting in the United Nations building to convey the simple and sincere feelings of mankind through poetry. We were invited by the organizer "reading poetry for you" to design theater installations for this event.

本次纪念活动以“诗的剧场”《月出》为主题，委托方希望能出现诗意的空间，同时要将环保贯穿整个设计与活动。

The theme of this commemoration is “Poetic Theater- Moonrise”, The client wanted to create a poetic space, while at the same time integrating environmental protection throughout the design and activities.

场地位于联合国大楼中心绿地，现状绿树成荫，可利用到的活动区域并不富余。场地所属方唯一要求是场地不能有任何破坏。本着尊重场地的原则，同时最优化有限空间的开放边界，我们将举行活动的剧场装置设计成为原有空间的统一体，既能满足此次活动的使用需求，又不是凌驾于场地之上。

The site is located in the green space at the center of the United Nations Building. The present situation is tree-lined and there is not enough activity area available. The only requirement of the site owner is that there be no damage to the site. Following the principle of respecting the site and optimizing the open boundary of the limited space, we designed the theater installation for the event to be an integral part of the existing space, meeting the needs of the event, but not overtaking the site.

设计将场地中最有利于扩展活动边界的一棵树作为装置的一部分，以其为圆心顺时针旋转30度，如此顺应场地中心其他几颗树的生长布局。观演者根据舞台的布局从而调整了观看的方向，我们通过设计自然的营造了“诗的剧场”，将人与自然的关系潜移默化的融为一体。

The design uses a tree in the site as part of the installation, rotating 30 degrees clockwise around its center, so as to conform to the growth layout of several other trees in the center of the site. Audiences adjust their viewing direction according to the layout of the stage. We create a "poetic theater" by designing nature, subtly integrating the relationship between man and nature.

剧场利用三面围合的193根立杆（象征着联合国193个会员国）形成世界和平之林，在灯光设计的配合下，剧场独特的“月出”意境得以展现。舞台根据场地的空间延伸出10米长的步道，形式上打破了规矩的方形舞台，同时也增添了观与演的互动性。

The theater uses 193 poles (Symbolizing the 193 member States of the United Nations)enclosed on three sides to form a world peace forest. With the cooperation of lighting design, the unique artistic concept of "moonrise" of the theater can be displayed. The stage extends a 10-meters footpath according to the space of the venue, breaking the formal square stage in form and increasing the interaction between viewing and performing.
