On the occasion of the opening of the new group show : Dream Tour in Wonderland in Shanghai, Vincent Leroy presents a new out door version of its optical installation Slow Lens.

这个新版本的光学装置慢镜头让参观者沉浸在另一个维度中,直接置身于上海街头的诗意梦幻中。这个新装置与我们的感知互动并且与周围的环境相呼应。
This new version of its optical installation Slow Lens immerses visitors in an other dimension, in a poetic dreamlike directly in a Shanghai street.This new mobile plays with our perception and dialogues with its surroundings.
▽变幻的现实 transformed reality
这些移动装置类似于在投影仪和电子设备中使用的光学镜片,他们以缓慢且壮观的方式波动起伏和变形,从而形成一个透明移动的星座。
Made of optical lenses similar to those used in projectors and electronic devices, the mobiles forms a transparent and moving constellation which undulates and deforms in a slow and spectacular way.
▽具有自然逆光效果的装置 installation with the natural sun backlight effect
这是大约由60个放大镜组成的一个巨型悬浮移动装置缓慢旋转。移动的表面与现实空间重叠,并将其转化成像万花筒一样抽象和变化的构造。
Composed of about sixty magnifying glasses, a levitating giant mobile spins slowly. The moving surface overlaps the reality and transforms it in a kaleidoscopic, abstract and changing composition.
特别是在阳光下,该装置在上海的天空和建筑之间形成了令人惊叹的景色。设计师将它放置于自然背光的圆形空间中,它的多个面透过光线进行镜面反射形成了倍增效果。
Ths installation produice an amazing view of the sky and building of Shanghai, especially with sun light. Settled in a circular space with a natural backlighting, its multiples facets react to light and are reflected by mirror surfaces for a multiplier effect. Playing both with its surroundings & our perception, the optical installation offers visitors a poetic and hypnotic vision.
