AIR SQUARE位于一处四通八达的场地，通过为城市带来充满活力的公共生活，激活了未充分利用的城市空间。装置旨在解决过度暴露在烈日下和缺乏绿色的公共空间来应对缓解气候变化问题的需求，AIR SQUARE被设计成一个大型遮阳系统，可以减轻城市的热岛效应，提供凉爽的避热空间。同时在夜里为黑暗的城市角落提供照明。

AIR SQUARE is a transportable venue thatactivates underused urban spaces by bringing them purpose and a vibrant publiclife. It responds to the need to alleviate climate change issues by tacklingoverexposed heat islands and lack of green and livable public spaces. The upperring is designed as a large shading system that mitigates, cools, and deliversrefuge from heat. At night it provides illumination to dark and less safe urbancorners.

模块化，耐用，可反复使用MODULAR, DURABLE, REUSABLE

装置由CNC切割胶合板制成，切口处的浪费最少，基础设计为由垂直腿和水平长凳组成的模块化系统部件用螺栓连接在一起，形成圆形承重结构，为结构提供稳定性。

Made of CNC cut plywood planks with minimumwaste in cut-outs, the foundation is designed as a modular system composed ofvertical legs and horizontal benches. Components are bolted together to form acircular load bearing structure providing stability to the body.

可定位长凳可用于多种功能比较接近和活动，例如公共活动，表演，或是作为小型市场贩售农贸产品，或是作为一体化的公共户外家具，为AIR SQUARE提供座椅、照明和遮阳，从而创造一个提高城市生活质量，创造更充实的共处方式的空间。

Positionable benches enable for multiplefunctions and programs such as public functions, performances, farmers markets,or serving as an all-in-one public furniture with seating, lighting, andshading in one AIR SQUARE creates a space that boosts the quality of life inour cities and ensure more fulfilling ways of living together.
